Nigeria’s president renews appointment of National Hospital CMD

Two tertiary hospitals affected by latest appointment announcement

The Federal Government of Nigeria has renewed the appointments of Dr. Jafaru Alunua Momoh, and Dr. Nwadinigwe Cajetan Uwatoronye  as  Chief Medical Director of  National Hospital, Abuja  and Medical Director, National Orthopedic Hospital Enugu, Enugu State, for the second and final term. The appointments are to take effect from 5th July 2018 and 30th May, 2018, respectively.

In a statement, Health Minister, Professor Isaac Adewole, urged them to improve on achievements already attained in the hospitals to justify the confidence reposed on them.

“Professor Adewole also hoped that their reappointments would enable the CMDs work collaboratively with all stakeholders, ensuring harmony and continuous delivery of quality healthcare services to the populace,” the ministry said in a statement.
